Our families are in disarray because of the baggage that we the parents bring to the picture. We have scars from our past that we unknowingly or at times knowingly unload our fears, shames, weaknesses and doubts into the gift that the Lord has given us to raise. Get healed broken people break people.

God is in charge of all things; therefore we must learn to be thankful in all every day.

God give gifts that we recognize immediately-packaged so beautifully; but then there are gifts that are hard to recognize because they don't look anything like what we were hoping for.

God is too wise to make a mistake. God is too wise to be unkind. Someone once said, "When you can't trace the hand of God, that's when you must learn to trust His heart."

Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thess. 5:18)

glad to be one of the few the called the single parent. It other than living a Christ like life has been the hardest but most rewarding thing I have ever done. On this coming Wednesday I am so proud say that my son will be graduating and has a full scholarship to the University of Maryland in College park, To God be all the glory and honor for the wonderful things he has done and is still doing.

I was a single parent for many years and it wasn't easy but a huge blessing at the same time. I joined the group just to read through and maybe offer a word of encouragement to someone. I won't be in yall business that much, lol.
